Phoebe PhiloOBE (born 25 October 1973)[1] is an English fashion designer. She was the creative director of fashion brands Céline from 2008 to 2017 and Chloé from 2001 to 2006. Her eponymous line launched in 2023.
Early life
Background
Philo was born in Paris to British parents working there. Her father, Richard, is a surveyor and her mother, Celia, is an art dealer and graphic artist who had a hand in creating David Bowie's Aladdin Sane album cover. Primeros años
[editar]Philo nació en París hija de padres británicos. Su padre, Richard, es topógrafo, mientras que su madre, Celia, es una comerciante de arte y artista gráfica que participó en la creación de la portada del álbum Aladdin Sane deDavid Bowie. La familia regresó a Gran Bretaña cuando ella tenía dos años y se crio en Harrow, Londres. En 1987, a la edad de 14 años, comenzó a personalizar su ropa después de recibir una máquina de coser como regalo de cumpleaños de sus padres.[2]
Estudió en la Escuela de Arte Saint Martin en Londres, donde concluyó sus estudios en 1996.
