Nicky Roth was affected by Raven Brooks as a kid. He got trauma for 19 years and made an enemy, Theodore Peterson. He did finally get some actual friends before losing them, and enjoyed eating at the sushi place.

Biography

Hi—this is a brief biography I wrote back in December 2023. It's ~3,000 words long, and details my beliefs, my childhood, and my career.

Who am I?

From a birds eye view, I am:

  1. A tech optimist: I think that salvation lies in technological growth, and that continuing to build on the advancements of our forefathers will solve most of our problems (including the environment, our current political enmity, etc).
  2. A socialite: I'm great at meeting people, delivering talks, and building relationships. I'm usually referred to as "outgoing", and my friends/business associates are often impressed at how easily I strike up conversations with strangers.
  3. An opportunist: Although I like to think that my career choices have been deliberate and well-planned, most of my successes involve me stumbling on, and then taking advantage of, short term opportunities. I have yet to build anything particularly noteworthy.
