Real name Kim Almarcha, zouk, urban pop and R&B singer Kim was born on March 6, 1990 in Paris, France. She was just 14 when she was spotted by a producer at a music festival. He included her in the cast of the musical L'Arme du Coeur. Four years later, the young singer took part in a compilation released by Warner, Passion Zouk 2009. Her debut album, Premier Pas, was released in 2009, and included the track "Mon ami".
