Equally adept at playing disarmingly sweet and comically ferocious, Kathryn Hahn found a national audience early in her career as the darling of the forensic procedural drama "Crossing Jordan" (2001-07). An NBC executive spotted the Cleveland-raised Hahn doing regional theater and vaulted her in due course to the role of big-hearted Lily Lebowski on "Jordan," whom she would play over six seasons and some soapy story arcs.
Meanwhile, she found a character niche in feature films, playing devoted BFFs to female leads in by-the-numbers romantic comedies like "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" (2003) and "A Lot Like Love" (2005), as well as gave aggressively ribald turns in "Step Brothers" (2008) and "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard" (2009). Kathryn Marie Hahn is an American actress and comedian. She became a worldwide phenomenon when she starred as Agatha Harkness in the Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries WandaVision (2021) for which she received critical acclaim and a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.
She was born in Westchester, Illinois, but her family then moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she spent most of her time growing up. She is of German, Irish, and English descent. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in theater from Northwestern University. She later attended Yale, where she enrolled in the school of drama and starred as "Sally Bowles" in "Cabaret" and as "the heartless Célimène" in Molière's play, "The Misanthrope". Kathryn has extensive stage experience, and appeared with the Huntington Theater Company's production of Jon Robin Baitz's "Ten Unknowns", with Ron Rifkin of Alias (2001) (Arvin Sloane).

She began her career on television, starring as a grief counselor in the NBC crime drama series Crossing Jordan (2001–2007). Hahn gained prominence appearing as a supporting actress in a number of comedy films, including How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Step Brothers (2008), Our Idiot Brother (2011), We're the Millers and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (both 2013), and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022).
