Biography

J.D. Roberto worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Roberto began his career with roles in "Step by Step" (1991-98), "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004) and the action flick "The Mask of Zorro" (1998) with Antonio Banderas. Roberto also appeared in "You Lie Like a Dog" (Animal Planet, 1999-2001), "Strippers" (2000) starring Tony Tucci and "Are You Hot?" (ABC, 2002-03). He also worked on "Outback Jack" (TBS, 2003-04) and "How to Get the Guy" (ABC, 2005-06). More recently, Roberto worked on the dramatic adaptation "Flicka" (2006) with Alison Lohman.

Early Life[]

He attended NYU'S Tisch School of Arts where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in acting. He also attended the University of British Columbia, where he received a Master of Fine Arts Degree in writing for Stage and Screen.

Early Career[]

Some of JD's acting credits include landing roles of the soap operas All My Children, Passions, and General Hospital as well as appearing on the sitcoms Frasier, Step by Step, and Family Matters as well as landing a role on the Live action TV series The New Adventures of Robin Hood.

JD has also done some work on the stage in both Los Angeles and New York including landing the title role in Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile at the Laguna Playhouse.
