Peyton Roi List[1] (born April 6, 1998) is an American actress. List began her career as a child model for tween magazines and companies before transitioning to acting with a minor role in the romantic comedy film 27 Dresses (2008) at the age of ten. As a child actress, she appeared in films Remember Me (2010) and Bereavement (2010), before her breakthrough role as Holly Hills in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series (2011–2012). List gained further attention for portraying Emma Ross on the Disney Channel series Jessie (2011–2015) and its spinoff Bunk'd (2015-18, 2021).

Peyton List was born on August 8, 1986, in Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up with her older sister Brittany, who works as a model in Germany, and her parents Sherri Anderson and Douglas "Doug" List. Peyton studied at the School of American Ballet in New York City and also played there on stage.
She began her career as a model and actress at the age of eight. Since then, she had various modeling jobs for "Dooney & Bourke", as well as "Clean & Clear". Peyton also belongs to the Eileen Ford modeling agency in New York. She has been on the cover of "Girl's Life" magazine more times than anyone else and was also a cover model for magazines like "Your PROM" (2002) and "Bridal Guide" (2004).
Besides her modeling career, she worked hard on her acting career, and on December 14, 2001, she landed her first role as "Lucy Montgomery" on the CBS soap opera, As the World Turns (1956). List rose to international attention for portraying Emma on the Disney Channel series Jessie (2011-2015), a role which she reprised in the spinoff series Bunk'd (2015-2018, 2021). She has since portrayed Laina Michaels in the YouTube Premium films The Thinning (2016) and The Thinning: New World Order (2018), Olivia Richmond on the Hulu web series Light as a Feather (2018), and Tory Nichols in the Netflix (previously YouTube Premium) series Cobra Kai (2019-present).
