Peter Griffin
Biography

Born in 1947, Peter Griffin studied at the Royal College of Art, going on to win the Rome Scholarship in Painting. His recent collaborations with the Pablo Neruda Foundation are shown below. 1998 marked the 25th anniversary of the death of Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda. Peter Griffin devoted three years to the development of imagery appropriate to the passion of Neruda's poetry. These images are from a portfolio published in an edition limited to 100 examples, the first twelve of which were special copies. He has also had collaborations with Ortega Y Gasset Foundation and prize-winning playwright Ariel Dorfman. Griffin has shown widely throughout Europe and South America, including recently at the National Gallery of Argentina.
