    Originally from East Texas, Sheldon started college at the age of 11 in 1991, receiving his first Ph.D. at the age of 16.     Grew Up... in Galveston, Texas. Sheldon was considered a child prodigy with a genius IQ but was rarely encouraged to explore his intellect, often bullied by his fairly "low-brow" family.
